These easy Greek yogurt mini pizzas are one of those recipes we come back to again and again.
They’re simple, flexible, and made with ingredients you likely already have at home. The dough comes together in minutes, there’s no yeast or rising time, and you can customize them however your family likes.
We like to add a scoop of Bloom Boost to give them a gentle fiber boost — but they work beautifully without it too.
Why we love these
- No yeast, no waiting
- Kid-friendly and hands-on
- A simple way to add more fiber
- Balanced with protein, fat, and carbs
- Great for lunches, dinners, or snacks
Easy Greek Yogurt Mini Pizzas (No yeast)
Ingredients (Makes 6 mini pizzas)
-1 cup whole wheat or all purpose flour
-1/4 cup Bloom Boost (If you don't have Bloom Boost yet, simply replace with 1/4 cup more flour)
-2 tsps baking powder
-1/4 tsp salt
-1/2 tsp garlic powder (optional)
-1/2 tsp italian seasoning OR equal parts basil & oregano (optional)
-1 cup plain, unflavored *Greek Yogurt (don't use low fat)
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 375F.
2. In a large bowl, mix together all dry ingredients until well combined.
3. Stir in the yogurt. Mix until a dough forms. Don't overwork.
4. Divide and roll dough into 6 mini pizzas, approximately 1/4 inch thick.
5. Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
5. Top with pizza sauce (see recipe below), your favourite pizza toppings, and shredded cheese.
6. Bake in preheated oven for ~18-20 minutes until cheese is bubbling and crust is golden brown.
*Note on Greek yogurt:
The fat content matters. Full-fat or 2% Greek yogurt creates a softer, more cohesive dough, while low-fat or fat-free versions can lead to a drier, less tender result.
Easy Pizza Sauce
Ingredients
-1 (15 oz) can tomato sauce
-1 tsp sugar or honey
-1/2 tsp dried oregano
-1/2 tsp dried basil leaves
-1/2 tsp garlic powder
-1/4 tsp dried thyme
-1/4 tsp salt
-1 whole bay leaf (optional)
Sauce directions:
Add everything to a small pot and simmer for 10–15 minutes if you have time (the flavours meld a bit more this way). If not, just mix and use as-is. It still works! Remove the bay leaf before using.
Notes
- You can use all-purpose flour, whole wheat, or a mix
- The dough should be soft, not stiff
- These are meant to be imperfect and rustic --that's part of what makes them approachable for kids.
- Bloom Boost adds fiber, but the recipe also works without it!
A quick nutrition note
One of the things we focus on with meals like this is balance. You've got:
- Carbs from the dough
- Protein from the Greek yogurt and cheese
- Fat from the cheese
- Fiber (especially if adding Bloom Boost)
This combination helps keep kids (and adults) more satisfied and energized — not just full for a few minutes!
Make it your own
Some easy variations:
- Keep it simple with just cheese
- Add mushrooms or finely chopped peppers
- Let kids build their own
- Double the batch and store leftovers for lunch
Real-life tip
If your kids are hesitant with new foods, this is a great one to involve them in.
Let them:
- mix the dough
- shape the pizzas
- choose their toppings
We hope your family enjoys this recipe as much as ours does!
